BOLTON METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL WOOD
A wood of no great note which forms a buffer between a residential area and the busy A6 by-pass near Blackrod. The wood contains beech, birch, hazel, hawthorn, rowan and sycamore. The pathways are clear but wet and muddy, and quite difficult in places after heavy rainfall.
