Raising money at work is a great team-building activity that can raise morale, too!

From cake sales to quiz nights to team tournaments – if you want to do something good for woods and trees, there are countless ways to start fundraising at work.

Fundraising ideas for the workplace

If you aren’t sure where to start, check out our workplace fundraising ideas and have a brainstorm with your colleagues.

  • Travel greener. Challenge colleagues to ditch their cars for a more carbon-friendly commute by walking, cycling or taking public transport to work. Gather sponsors and even award a prize to the team member who manages to save the most carbon.
  • Throw an office bake off. Encourage colleagues to enter their best cakes, biscuits, bread and more, then sell the delicious results.
  • Swap the coffee. Ask colleagues to donate the cost of their morning coffees for a month.
  • Get quizzing. Host a quiz night and ask for a donation to enter, or run a sweepstake on a sporting event or a TV show like Love Island or Strictly.

Whatever you choose to do, your efforts will help us continue to make a real difference in protecting, restoring and creating native woods and trees for the benefit of wildlife and people.

Can't take the day off?

Want to support us but can't find the time around work commitments? Why not set up a JustGiving page and encourage people to donate an hour's or a day's wages instead?
