This mix of ancient woodland and recent planting, sheltered glens, jagged outcrops and rugged moorland lies in a spectacular setting at the foot of the Kilpatrick Hills. The Woodland Trust’s largest site in the west of Scotland, it offers superb hiking, fascinating flora, an abundance of wildlife and wonderful views of the Clyde, Dumbarton Rock and Ben Lomond.
