Mainly broadleaf with occasional conifers such as Scots pine. This site is topped by an Iron Age hill fort (a scheduled ancient monument) overlooking the Tweed. It's also home to red squirrels, with a very good chance of a sighting on any visit. A very popular site and an annual bonfire celebration to St Ronan is well-attended.
