Southport Commerce Park
SEFTON METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL WOOD
A ribbon of woodland, which appears to be popular with dog walkers and strollers, separates farmland from a new business park with good pathways but limited access to the wood itself. Most of the planting is relatively new with young trees and saplings in abundance, a mix of Ash, Mountain Ash (Rowan), Elder, Willow, Hawthorn, Silver Birch and Pine. Fine Jane's Brook runs through the wood and attracts waterfowl, duck and some wading birds.
