Rostherne Mere

Four woodlands around Rostherne Mere NNR. These woodlands are on a SSSI nature reserve and to minimise disturbance do not have open access except for a small concessionary path in Wood Bongs. Access for this is via the NNR car park in the centre of Rostherne village. There are also excellent birdwatching facilities on site and a permit to use the AW Boyd Memorial Observatory is available from Cheshire and Wirral Ornithological Society (CAWOS) walks are also available. cawos.org/rosthernemere.htm
