Plymouth Great Wood

Plymouth Great Wood is in the Ely Valley, just on the edge of St Fagans, home of the Museum of Welsh Life. There are plenty of walking paths along the valley but you can also reach the wood by bus. Alight on Plymouth Wood Road. The wood itself has plenty of paths and tracks which link into longer distance paths along the Ely Valley. The Ely River runs along the northern edge. This is a popular area with local people including dog walkers and cyclists.
