A large predominately conifer plantation on the B871 near the hamlet of Syre. Plenty of parking at site. Waymarked throughout. River Naver runs through the site. Good place for insects, I was lots of butterflies and dragonflies on my visit. Wide tracks and grassy foot paths with slight gradients. Great views of surrounding mountains. If you visit this site you have to visit the Rosal Clearance Village well worth a visit.
