Situated near the village of Upholland, the 260 acre park consists of rolling wild flower meadows, mixed woodland, nature trails, bridle paths and panoramic views of the Lancashire coast to the west, and the Pennines to the east. There is space to walk, run, ride horses or bicycles, fly kites, or just relax. The park embraces a public golf course, driving range, and visitor centre with a cafe, toilets and a recently developed children's play area. The park has the prestigious Green Flag Award.
