Dean Wood

Dean wood is a semi ancient woodland that is under the care of the West Lancashire Countryside Rangers Service. The footpaths which follow the brook that meanders through the valley are in places steep. Wood anemone, lesser celandine, opposite leaved golden saxifrage, bluebells and wild garlic can be seen growing through the wood.
