Volunteers collect over 11m rare seeds for nature restoration work in Scotland
The project launched in 2023 with an initial target of collecting one million seeds. A 100 dedicated volunteers have collected the rare and precious seeds by hand from remote locations – enabling an estimated 7.8 million trees to be grown for woodland restoration projects in Scotland.
