Adapting to ash dieback position statement, April 2019

This position statement sets out the Trust’s stance on ash dieback and how to deal with it.

The disease, caused by the fungus Hymenoscyphus fraxineus, presents a major threat to the UK’s treescape. It is likely to wipe out at least 80% of our ash trees, impacting on both people and wildlife.

The statement explains what we are doing to best respond to this epidemic.
