Woodend Moss

A small Forestry Commission conifer plantation a couple of miles from Carnwath just off the B7016. Plenty of parking at site, then a 15-minute walk to the woods along a track beside Scotts Farm. However, on walking to the woods I discovered that the peat bog beside the plantation is now being excavated for peat. So it's only possible to walk up to the woods and no further as there are no suitable footpaths. The farm is also all boarded, this is very much a working site and probably not worth visiting.
