WIGAN METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL WOOD
A small, accessible wood close to a residential area with ash, beech, poplar and hawthorn. The West Coast mainline runs in a cutting along the northern edge of the wood. Access via Willow Tree Grove (off Hazelwood Avenue).
