Swell Wood is an ancient oak and hazel coppice woodland. Its has a large Grey Heronry and a nature trail. Spring flowers cover on the woodland floor. Roe deer can be seen on reserve as well as Hobby, Snipe and Teal. Dragon and damselflies are seen.
