This wood is situated on the western edge of Newton Aycliffe and is a small wood adjacent to housing and is certainly a dog walking area as well as a short cut from one housing area to another. The wood also contains two ponds in the wild flower meadow which was covered in buttercups and with clover trying to get a chance to make a showing.
