A large park and woodland on the western edge of Halifax. Its name derives from bushy scrubs which covered the area before the park was built. Plenty to do here with children's playgrounds, skateboard park, two football pitches and other amenities. Walking in the park is reasonably level on surfaced paths with good disabled access from surrounding roads and paths. Woodland areas are steep and not surfaced. Car parking is free on roads around park entrances.
