To find Sawcliffe Hill, drive up the A1077 from Scunthorpe town towards Dragonby. Before the Dragonby turn off there is a layby on the right where you can park. Walk past the vehicle barrier and up the track and the reserve is on the hill to the right. It was planted as a community woodland many years ago and due to its location you will find more wildlife than visitors. The key species on site include Common Lizard, Grayling Butterfly, several species of orchids, and a plethora of birds and mammals.
