This small wood is next to Epping Forest and gaps in the wall allow free passage. The area is amazingly green in Winter due to a large amount of Holly and Ivy. An overgrown path takes you around the edge and allows you to listen to the many birds of this woodland. Lots of good habitat for insects with many dead elms lying around.
