Red Carr Wood

Also known as Menstrie Wood this is a large community mixed woodland on the A91. With several entrances along the main street of the village. Plenty of off road parking with good access. Wide foot paths throughout with a good mixture of trees. Great views from the top of the hill. Good interpretation panels at entrance by the scout hut which crosses the Menstrie Burn.
