Queensberry

The Queensberry Estate based around Drumlanrig Castle has dedicated waymarked paths and woodland trails for wildlife enthusiasts, walkers and mountain bikers of all abilities. The magnificent Castle has parking, a small cafe, bike shop and a museum/visitor centre, and Queensberry wood is approximately 1km from the Castle car park and facilities. At the wood there are two gates, use the upper, larger white gate. Do not use the smaller gate lower down which leads to a narrow path.
