Kingston Lacy Estate - Abbot Street Copse, Pamphill

This ancient woodland shows remains of the old Roman road from Hamworthy (Poole Harbour) to Badbury Rings with ancient hollow-ways. The site with enclosures is undoubtedly pre-17th century and is probably far older. When in season this whole Pamphill area is a sea of bluebells.
