Holbury Manor Park and Warren Copse

The Manor and Copse is all that is left of the original Holbury Manor created from New Forest waste land in the 12th Century. The 10.45 hectare site is a SINC and is being developed as an area for recreation amenity and nature conservation for the community. The Manor has fish ponds created by the monks from Beaulieu a moated area and earthworks. Warren Copse is an ancient and semi natural woodland with many veteran oaks also ash birch and wild cherry. Understory mainly hazel with bluebells.
