Hallside
South Lanarkshire
PRIVATELY OWNED WOOD
The woodland at Hallside was planted with willow in the 90s as part of the housing development, with the idea of harvesting the trees every 5 years. The site was then abandoned until 2009, when the Drumsagard Village Resident's Association took over management. The paths around the woodland have been rebuilt and it is now a valuable amenity for local walkers and families.
