Great Oaks

This attractive wood is composed of mature oaks with an underwood of ash and hornbeam. It boasts a mass of bluebells in the springtime, and wildlife is particularly rich due to areas of ancient woodland that survive here - a number of notable insects and spiders have been recorded within this section of the Estate. There are numerous paths which you are welcome to explore.
