This ancient semi-natural woodland in the Chiltern Hill is only three miles from High Wycombe. Timber used to be sourced from here for the local furniture trade and there are also old quarry pits within the wood. There are some steep climbs within the wood but this is a lovely quiet place to walk and enjoy the surrounding countryside.
