Broadleaved woodland which follows the course of the River Stour and the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal. A walk along the canal towpath will allow you to enjoy the serene atmosphere of the woods as well as the impressive sandstone cliffs across the water. Gloucester Coppice also gives its name to nearby caves created by the River Stour, which are probably the largest in the area and may be associated with Stone Age artefacts found nearby.
