Gin Pit Village Woodland

The new community woodland at Gin Pit Village was planted with around 2,000 trees in 2012, adding to fruit trees planted a year previous. The planting was funded by the Government's ambitious Big Tree Plant initiative, and carried out by volunteers, workers from Red Rose Forest and the local scout group.
