Fishburn Colliery Reclamation

Coal mining in Fishburn was a major industry from 1910 to 1973, but this plant was eventually closed in 1986. The site has since been reclaimed as a nature reserve. Explore the grasslands looking for butterflies and wildflowers, or stroll through some of the young wooded areas.
