Ettrickbridge Community Wood

This is a Millennium community celebration wood. It nestles into the hillside on the edge of Ettrickbridge. The mixed species trees are becoming well established, growing well and looking healthy. There is a circular walk around the central (sadly overgrown) wetland. Strategically placed benches and a picnic table are ideal for a visitor. The views to an Peel tower and across the hills are excellent. This area links up with other walks from the village, and is adjacent to the cemetery.
