THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL WOOD
The River Almond flows rapidly past this strip of beech woodland, flanked by the Dalmeny Estate on the north. It's a narrow gorge with surfaced and unsurfaced paths, accessed most easily from School Brae car park. The tidal pool by carpark is popular with anglers.
