Dundee - The Miley
Dundee
PRIVATELY OWNED WOOD
The Miley is part of the disused Newtyle to Dundee railway, within easy walking distance of the city centre. It was originally an impassable, mile-long rubbish tip, but now supports grassland, tall herb communities, scrub and trees - habitats that birds, mammals and insects thrive in. The Miley is part of the Dundee-Newtyle Railway, one of the first passenger carrying railways in Scotland.
