Craigengall

A collection of 5 woods located outside the village of Avonbridge. The woods are made up of mixed woodland with some ancient trees. The section I visited has a footpath leading from main road through fields and along side of woods. Some off road parking available at site. All local amenities to be found in Avonbridge. Good views of surrounding hills and farmland. Wide foot paths throughout. Very muddy on the day I visited and lots of snow around, but warm enough that gorse was in flower.
