Coastal Woodlands, Ainsdale Sand Dunes NNR

These woodlands are the remains of commercial Corsican pine plantations that have since taken on a more natural aspect playing host to a large population of red squirrels and a rich fungal flora with over 400 different species of which have been recorded.
