Clapham Common Woodland

Clapham Common contains several small areas of woodlands, which have evolved over time from the open heath that the Common was first dominated by. These woods are composed of a mosaic of woodland cover and open glades, along with ephemeral ponds and paths. The woods forma vital part of the Common's rich biodiversity, and provide places for people to experience and enjoy nature close to where they live, study and work.
