Chain Wood

Chain wood is a thin stretch of native woodland that flanks the west side of the Creetown to Gatehouse of Fleet road. This stretch of road is part of national cycle route 7 and so would make a lovely bike ride between the two villages. There are no obvious trails into the wood - although you can make your own.
