Allen Banks and Staward Gorge is National Trust property just south of Barden Mill in Northumberland. The River Allen runs through a gorge and is surrounded by woodland. The property contains 3 woods: Allen Banks, Morralee and Stewardpeel. At the entrance there is a pay-and-display car park, picnic area and toilets. As well as a number of way marked trails to follow, there is a variety of footpaths at river level and higher up the gorge.
