Alkrington Woods

Alkrington Woods local nature reserve consists of Alkrington Woods, Pike Fold golf course, Rhodes Lodges reservoirs, Kitchen Woods and Alkrington Ponds. It's bisected by the river Irk, which can be crossed by a bridge near Silburn Way and another near Kitchen Wood called Lever Bridge. There are a number of paths and social trails throughout the area.
