Originally known as Foxley Fields, Foxley Wood was planted over 1995 and 1996 with help from the local community and forms part of the National Forest. The trees have established well, and with the open areas seeded with wildflowers and superb views over the Trent Valley, this is a lovely spot for a visit – whether walking, on horseback or cycling.
