Feed your curiosity about the wonderful world of fungi with a mushroom growing workshop at Mourne Park.

In this woodland-based session, we’ll learn how to grow two native edible mushrooms: chicken of the woods and lion’s mane. We’ll use beech and chestnut logs, which you’ll be able to bring home at the end of the workshop to watch your mushrooms grow over the following weeks.

Once they’re fully grown, you’ll have a tasty, nutritious ingredient for your favourite meals, with the added satisfaction of growing it yourself!
