Power through your step goals at Londonthorpe Woods on a 20km guided walk.

Social walks are a great opportunity to meet new people, discover new places, and build your confidence walking in the countryside.

Departing and finishing at Londonthorpe Woods car park, the route will take us across the Belton Estate and Barkston Airfield, before descending Minnett’s Hill into Barkston Village for a spot of lunch by the river (please bring your own). From there, the walk will ascend gently to Peascliff Tunnel before heading back to the Belton Estate and across to Bellmount Tower. There will be two drink stops along the way.

Together with the National Trust, supported by National Lottery players through the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we've linked Londonthorpe Woods and Bellmount, reconnecting Grantham to its historic landscape.

This is a free event but booking in advance via the National Trust website is essential.

Don't forget

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring sturdy footwear. You may also wish to bring binoculars.

Remember to bring your own lunch.
