In 2014 the Woodland Trust acquired Langley Vale Wood, which was previously an arable farm.

Nearly 10 years on, the site is a haven for wildlife with hidden treasures including the many arable plants species left behind – some of which are of national and international importance. On this walk you will explore the site in search of arable plants with our trusted volunteers.

Don't forget

We ask all attendees to come prepared for the weather, this includes appropriate clothing, footwear, sun cream and water if needed. This walk will be cancelled if there is severe weather, please check your email on the day before the walk.

There are no toilet facilities onsite. The nearest public toilets are in Ashtead on Woodfield Lane (KT21 1AT).

Please make the Woodland Trust team aware of any medical issues before the start of the walk.
