Local authority tree strategies - suggested policy

The Woodland Trust believes that having a comprehensive up-to-date Trees and Woodland Strategy in place is key for local authorities.

This policy paper sets out:

• our recommended wording for a Trees and Woodland Policy, together with useful examples
• a checklist of content headings that we recommend should be included in any comprehensive Trees and Woodland Strategy.
