Speaker 1: So the pupils that have been helping today are one of four of our pupil voice teams, the school community team, and they're charged with improving the school environment. We've decided to plant on our field. We've got a very big field. It's very open to the elements. So we've decided to plant the trees here to give us a bit of shade. We’re going to be encouraging growing of fruits and vegetables, wildflower meadow and lots of wildlife habitats as well. And that's going to be a whole school project. But the trees will help us apply for grants and other things like that which will go a very, very long way because it's a very big project that we're going to be doing.
Speaker 2: It's like babies, a tree. We need to feed it with water.
Speaker 3: We have been planting trees so then nature could grow back so then the animals could possibly have some shelter but also keep it as shelter and giving us oxygen.
Speaker 4: We planted a tree. High five. Well done.
Speaker 5: I like how trees can last for a long time and planting these trees can help save the environment and that it's really good for mental health.
Speaker 1: We've got lots of housing developments around the local area, so it's not very green. And we've obviously got a ginormous field, so the more trees and the more nature we can get in the local area as well, it'll be good for everybody.
Speaker 1: Okay, is everyone okay?
All: YES!
Speaker 1: Has everyone enjoyed this morning?
All: YES!
Speaker 1: Good. Well done, everybody. Give yourself a round of applause. You’ve all worked very hard.
