This is a flat, open site with established native woodland and pockets of new planting to increase the woodland area, along with tributaries of the Glazebrook River running through. In the spring time the site is covered in wildflowers including oxeye daisies, red campion and lady's smock. Wildife includes brown hare and roe deer. There is a waymarked children's trail and links into the Glazebrook Timberland Trail, an 18 kilometre walkway which runs from Pennington to Cadishead.
