Wilmay Copse

Wilmay Copse is north-west of the village of Fawkham Green; situated on a plateau overlooking the Fawkham Valley it is an important feature of the local downland landscape. There is very limited roadside parking along Sun Hill adjacent to the wood and 3 entrances two through gaps in fencing and one up a set of wooden steps. There is a network of paths none of which is surfaced and rich flora throughout including spurge laurel bluebells and dog mercury indicative of Ancient Woodland.
