Sutton Heath

The woodland is beautiful at any time of year -- autumn colours, springtime leaves and flowers, deliciously shady in the summer and sheltered in the winter. It is a mixed woodland of sweet chestnut, pine, oak trees, most of them 70-100 years old. It contains several varieties of bats and a wealth of other wildlife, and is much loved by local people and visitors alike.
