Red Carr Wood

Also known as Menstrie Wood this is a large community mixed woodland on the A91. With several entrances along the main street of the village. Plenty of off road parking with good access. Wide foot paths throughout with a good mixture of trees. Great views from the top of the hill. Good interpretation panels at entrance by the scout hut which crosses the Menstrie Burn. Menstrie Castle managed by National Trust for Scotland is close by and is worth a visit too.
