This linear wood in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is sandwiched between a railway track and Crowborough Ghyll river fantastically stained orange from iron. Historical interest in the form of WW2 pillboxes. Natural woodland of alder birch and oak with extensive bluebells and an old meadow.
