Oak Hill Bank

A strip of mixed woodland running along the length of a steep bank to the east of Wellholme Park. A footpath runs the length of the woods, with others dropping down to the park. As the name suggest the wood is populated with common oak; other species include ash, sycamore, rowan and silver birch. There is a free car park at the north end of Wellholme Park giving easy access to the wood.
